Pancake with strawberry syrup

This is actually waffle recipes. Since i don't have the waffle iron, so the batter turns out into pancakes. It is really easy to make and the batter uses the most basic ingredients like flour, egg, baking powder and milk. I have to say the pancake is crispier than other pancakes i have made before.  I also make my own strawberry syrup. Simple and easy. Here the recipes.

Pancake's ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp white sugar
1 large egg, light beaten
1 cup milk
2 tbs butter

Method
In a large bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.  In a separate bowl whisk together the egg and milk.  Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture, all at once, and stir just until combined. Stir in the melted butter.

Strawberry syrup

1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
Handful of ripe strawberries.

Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Mix strawberries and bring it to boil. Reduce heat until the strawberries go mushy and the sauce turns thick. Then, turn off the heat and refrigerate the sauce and ready to serve.
